Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Disk Rider Live (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after notice of an update constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. Accounts found to belong to users under 16 will be suspended pending verification.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. DJ Pro Subscription

DJ accounts require an active Pro subscription ($20/month) to publish a profile and appear in rankings. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time; your profile remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (mixes, photos, videos, posts). By uploading, you grant Disk Rider Live a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You must not upload content that:

• Infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Contains illegal material, hate speech, or harassment.
• Includes the personal data of others without their consent.
• Is misleading or fraudulent.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules without notice.

6. Rankings

Rankings are calculated automatically based on platform activity. We do not guarantee any particular ranking position. Attempts to manipulate rankings through fake followers, bot check-ins, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour will result in permanent account suspension.

7. Wallet & Payments

• Wallet balances are held in trust and are not interest-bearing.
• Platform fees are deducted before funds reach your available balance.
• Payouts are subject to identity verification for amounts above $100 cumulative.
• We reserve the right to freeze wallet funds suspected of being associated with fraud or chargebacks pending investigation.
• Wallet balances for terminated accounts are subject to a 90-day hold before disbursement.

8. Bookings & Contracts

Disk Rider Live provides tools to facilitate bookings between DJs and venues. We are not a party to any booking agreement. Disputes between DJs and venues are the responsibility of the parties involved. Contracts generated on the Platform are provided as a convenience and do not constitute legal advice.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without written permission.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our source code.
• Impersonate another user, DJ, or venue.
• Use the Platform for spam, phishing, or unsolicited promotions.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disk Rider Live is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of revenue, data, or ranking position.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
