Frequently Asked Questions
Is the fan account really free forever?+
Yes. Fans never pay to follow DJs, watch streams, check in, or RSVP. That will always be free.
Do DJs pay anything?+
No. DJs use every Pro feature — broadcasting, analytics, rankings, the booking inbox, the wallet — for free. We make money on platform commissions for digital set sales (15%) and tip processing (25%, capped at €20 per DJ per stream), and on venue subscriptions.
What's the difference between the two venue plans?+
Metered is $50/month plus $2 per RSVP on your events. Flat is $100/month with unlimited RSVPs included. If you expect more than 25 RSVPs in a month, flat is the cheaper option. You can switch plans any time from your venue dashboard — changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
When am I charged?+
Today, no card-on-file charging is enabled. Your venue dashboard shows the current period's accrual (base + bookings) and we invoice out-of-band. Card billing is planned for a future update.
What counts as an "RSVP" for the per-booking fee?+
Every confirmed RSVP from a fan to one of your events incurs a $2 fee. Each fan = one RSVP. Cancelling an RSVP does not refund the fee, but a fan who cancels and re-confirms is not charged twice. Table reservations and check-ins do not trigger the fee.
What payment methods will you accept?+
When card billing goes live, we'll support all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). For now invoicing is manual.
Can I switch venue plans mid-month?+
Yes. The current billing period locks in whichever plan was active when the period started, so you finish the month at the same rate. Your next month bills on the new plan.
How does the DJ wallet work?+
Every time a fan purchases one of your digital sets, sends a gift during a live stream, or sends a tip, the earnings credit to your DJ wallet minus the platform commission. You can request a payout to your bank account at any time.
How are DJ rankings calculated?+
Algorithmically, based on follower growth, check-ins at live events, stream viewers, engagement (reactions, comments, gifts), and booking history. Consistency over time drives momentum.
