The DJ's Guide to Landing Venue Deals

The Disk Rider Live deal flow system turns informal booking conversations into structured, trackable agreements.

Finding venues. Browse the Venues directory and filter by city, capacity, and genre fit. Look at each venue's upcoming event calendar — a gap in their schedule is an opening for you.

Making the first move. Use the Booking Inquiry button on the venue page. Keep your pitch under 150 words: your ranking, your genre fit, and two or three available dates.

The deal flow pipeline. Once a venue manager responds, the deal moves through stages: Inquiry → Negotiating → Agreed → Contracted → Completed. You can see all active deals in your Dashboard → Deals tab.

Contracts. When both sides agree on terms, generate a contract directly in the platform. Contracts are timestamped, signed digitally, and stored permanently on your profile — useful for dispute resolution.

Milestones and payments. Break larger deals into milestones (e.g. 50% on signing, 50% on the night). The wallet handles disbursements automatically once a milestone is marked complete by both parties.

After the show. Request a review from the venue manager. Positive reviews feed your reliability score, which feeds your ranking.
