DJ Competitions: How to Enter, Win, and Rank Up

Disk Rider Live competitions are open to all verified DJ accounts. Here's everything you need to know.

Finding competitions. Visit the Competitions page. Each competition shows its entry deadline, genre category, judging format (live vote, judge panel, or hybrid), and prize breakdown.

Entering. Click Enter and submit your entry — typically a recorded set or a live performance slot. Some competitions require a qualifying round.

How judging works. Scores come from three sources: a panel of judges (50%), community votes from platform users (30%), and an automated technical score based on mix quality metrics (20%).

The scoring rubric. Judges rate on track selection, mixing technique, crowd energy (for live rounds), originality, and set narrative.

Prizes. Cash prizes are paid directly to your Disk Rider Live wallet. Trophy badges appear on your profile permanently. Competition wins add a one-time bonus to your ranking score proportional to the prize pool size.

After the competition. Win or lose, your entry video is published on your profile under the Highlights tab. Competitions consistently drive new followers — even third-place finishers average +12% follower growth in the week after results.
